Students created a plethora of winter projects for this holiday season. They got to experiment with a tactile project of making squishy snow using ivory soap, tissue paper, and water, create a winter book, and make a 3D winter scene.

Students in the 7th grade are starting their printmaking unit by practcing texture techniques on small pieces of styrofoam.
Students in the 3rd grade have been learning about African landforms. This painting unit involved learning about different bush strokes, and color mixing techniques, as well as basic printmaking techniques. Students created their own animal stamp using foam, cardboard, and ink.
Students in the 8th grade have been working on their watercolor unit. Students have learned different brush stoke techniques, studied the paintings of Turner, and Homer, and experimented with color mixing and blending.
